2025 was a significant year for the Universal Care Plan, including the major milestone of expanding the UCP use cases. As we move into 2026, we’re excited to build on the strong progress across health, social care and the voluntary sector to continue supporting systems to deliver more coordinated, compassionate care.

GP Connect Feedback  Last month, the UCP went live with a GP Connect (Access: Structured Record) integration. This enables organisations with access to GP Connect to view medication and allergy information recorded in the patient’s GP record when in the UCP, helping reduce discrepancies and the administrative burden.
