Universal Care Plan Update – 16th December 2024

Universal Care Plan Programme Important Update 16th December 2024

The Universal Care Plan enables every Londoner who needs one, to have a digital personalised care plan, because ‘what matters to me’ is as important as ‘what’s the matter with me’.

UCP Expanded Care Plan Launch Update

Over the past week, a couple of technical issues have emerged. This has prevented a small number of Primary and Community Care users from accessing the UCP via EMIS and TPP as they normally would.

To avoid any disruption, we decided to delay the launch of the new expanded care plan from 10th December until the new year while we work with the affected organisations and the supplier to resolve these issues.

During this time, we’ll continue to engage with more users about the expanded care plan. We encourage you to keep exploring the new template and upcoming changes by visiting the key messages and learn page of our website.  We will provide more information about the new proposed launch date as soon as possible through our newsletter, communication channels and social media.

Internet Explorer

For users who previously received a system notification informing them that access via Internet Explorer (IE) will be deprecated at the start of December – on Friday 13th December, we temporarily extended support for IE so you can continue to access UCPs via IE. However, we plan to end this support again in January in order to launch the expanded UCP care plan.

Internet Explorer users will continue to receive a notification and therefore must complete the following steps ahead of the re-deprecation in January.

For EMIS/TPP users, if you have not set up Valida client, please contact the UCP helpdesk to set this up as this will enable direct access via TPP or EMIS: Phone: 0203 513 6464 – option 3Email: ucp.helpdesk@swlondon.nhs.ukContact form: https://ucp.onelondon.online/contact/ The helpdesk is available Monday-Friday, 9-5 excluding bank holidays.

For other service users, please contact your system provider to enable a non-IE browser to launch the Health Information Exchange (HIE) or alternatively, you can register for a web portal account

Happy Holidays!

The UCP team would like to wish you all a happy festive season and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with you in the new year.
